[May 30, 2016] CineVic presents Kids Summer Film Camp – July 11-15

CineVic presents Summer Film Camp! From July 11th-15th participants aged 11-15 will engage in hands-on filmmaking using professional grade equipment in the gorgeous setting of St. Ann’s Academy. Artists and film professionals from the local community will nourish their creativity, teaching them the basics of filmmaking from conception through to completion. Participants will have the opportunity to try various roles to find their area of interest and tell their stories in a collaborative environment. The week will culminate with a pizza party and big-screen premiere for friends, family, peers and the public. Camp days will run from 9am to 3pm with a mid-day lunch break.

[2015] Upcoming Film Industry Mixer

Every year, the Vancouver Island South Film & Media Commission holds mixers in order to connect members of our film community with one other and with local businesses that support the industry. It is a great chance to find out what is happening in the CRD’s film industry, meet those who contribute, and discover how you can get involved. 

 

The next mixer will be held on Thursday, September 24th.

Membership with the film commission ($25/year) is required in order to attend. For more info on our mixer and our membership program, please email us!

WE ARE MOVING! Office Closed Friday, July 24rd

Hi everyone!

 

After 5 wonderful years of sharing space with The Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce we have out grown our tiny office and are moving to 514 Government St. We would like to take this opportunity to thank The Chamber for the amazing support that they have given us ,not just over these last 5 years but for the past 35 years! We will miss all the wonderful people who work at The Chamber but look forward to a little more space and a new beginning.

 

Please note that our offices will be closed on Friday July 24 for our move.
